A Birthday Blast..

Carrefour has joined the string of supermarkets to absorb the 2-percentage-point GST hike.

It will do so for all items purchased with the POSB Everyday credit card this month. This is an addition to the usual 5-percentage-point cash rebate. The hypermarket chain has also lined up a series of activities for its 10th anniversary celebrations.

It is giving shoppers a chance to be among the first to experience the Singapore Flyer in Carrefour's private capsule.

This lucky draw is yet another innovative way to thank our shoppers," said Mr Thierry Guillon Verne, Carrefour Singapore’s operations director.

In line with its anniversary campaign theme of "The 1st Is Still The Best", Carrefour will also be giving out goodie bags to the first 100 toddlers to take 10 steps in the store on July 10.
