Have A Ball

I know these chocolate balls don’t look like much.

They are wrapped in dark brown paper. The tube-like packaging is strange and unwieldy. All seven pieces (not six, not eight, but seven) are lined up side by side and wrapped in plastic. And they’re huge – you can’t just pop one in your mouth. If you saw them on the supermarket shelf, you wouldn’t even look twice. But let me say you’d be glad you did.

Unwrap one of these Rocher Noir and take a bite. There are crunchy hazelnuts and a smooth, rich dark chocolate praline filling. And because they are so large, you can really stop at one.

I was bowled over by how good this supermarket chocolate tasted. So ugly but so yummy.
