Please remember to care & concern the needy

Every Christmas or festive seasons, my children, husband and myself will join one of the non-profit organisation to celebrate Christmas with the residents from the Home for the Aged located at Hougang.  This year, the Christmas celebration was held on 20 Dec 2009.  The organisation had prepared some food such as sandwiches, sushi, fried mee, fried rice and Christmas log cake.  We had some games with the residents and also sing Christmas songs with them.  My family and I have prepared some small gift for the residents.  The volunteers, my family, myself and the residents had a good time.  I always tell my children that we should always reach out to the poor or needy families, aged and the disabled, regardless of their race or religion, who is in dire need for assistance.  Hope that everyone can always care and concern the less fortunate and lonely elderly especially on festive seasons.  Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
