The role is to develop and ensure the right assortment at the right price to satisfy the needs of our customers. Reporting to the Merchandise Director, you will work closely with the National Buyers on the Non-food categories. This includes Household items, furniture, car accessories, DIY, gardening, home appliances & electrical, home linen, fashion and accessories. Contract negotiation with major suppliers, performance analysis and merchandising conceptualization are part of the portfolio. International sourcing and buying are essential.
To excel in this role, you must be well-versed in the categories and consumer behavior. Equipped with a minimum of 5 years’ professional buying experience with good track records, passion for retail, strong desire to compete, strong determination and sharp business acumen are key personal attributes we seek for.
- Department Head
You are the National Buyer for Household items, including Furnitures. You are also responsible for the operations and financial results of the Household department, leading a team of staff to achieve the department objectives.
Equipped with minimum 3 years professional buying experience in Household products, you are entrepreneurial and seeking for challenges. Strong people skills, good time management and organization skills are essential skills we seek in you.
